A dança das identidades: dinâmicas e desafios no cotidiano dos jovens da periferia

Este trabalho de investigação, intitulado A Dança das Identidades: dinâmica e desafios no cotidiano dos jovens da periferia, aborda o processo de identificação cambiante, transitório e efémero pelo qual os jovens da periferia do município de Porto Seguro-BA têm transitado na pós- modernidade. O trabalho se desenvolveu com o objetivo de conhecer os jovens em seus diversos lugares e espaços de vivência, buscando entender a construção e ressignificação das suas identidades. Como metodologia, optamos por urna pesquisa qualitativa do tipo etnográfico, onde estabelecemos uma relação entre cotidiano, identidade e lugares de vivência dos jovens da periferia na pós-modernidade, utilizando registros em diários pessoais, além de outras. O trabalho evidencia que os jovens transitam por diversas identidades, ora as incorporam, ora as resistem, confirmando, assim, o fim das identidades fixas e a ressignificação do sujeito moderno. Essas identidades trasladam o tempo inteiro, em movimento constante, como se estivessem em urna festa móvel.

This research, Dancing of identities: dynamics and challenges in everyday life of young people in outskirts areas, approaches the process of changing, ephemeral and transitory identification which is being experienced by young people in outskirts areas from the county of Porto Seguro, today, in this so called post-modernity era. This work has been carried out with the main goal of perceiving the youngsters in their current life, emphasizing their relation to places and to the space in which they live, trying to understand the building and the re-signifying process of tbeir own identities. Methodologically, a qualitative approach, in its ethnographic mode, was chosen in order to establish a relation among the everyday life, the identity, and the places where young people experience their lives. The collecting data process carried out in this investigation included the personal diary and other. The results revealed that the young people investigated transit through various identities, sometimes incorporating, or resisting, or confirming them. Those results lead us to assume the end of the fixed identities, which permit us to affirm that the modern subject undergoes a process of re-signifying. Furthermore, the identities of those young people are in transit, all the time in a constant movement, as they were in a dancing party.
