Neste Editorial queremos deixar uma saudação de gratidão a todos os que se interessam pela Revista de Enfermagem Referência, autores, revisores e particularmente leitores e utilizadores.

Uma Revista Científica presta um relevante serviço ao disseminar informação científica e técnica a um amplo universo de leitores.

Os leitores são a razão de ser de uma Revista Científica e o seu investimento o valor mais relevante.

Numa leitura simplificada da estatística sobre visualizações de artigos na Revista de Enfermagem Referência, na Plataforma SciELO - Scientific Electronic Library Online, observa-se nos relatórios um crescimento não apenas no uso do site como também nas citações da Revista. Também os relatórios regulares do Digital Object Identifier system (DOI) nos dão informação relevante sobre os acessos a artigos científicos, com particular relevo nos artigos mais visualizados “top 10”. CrossRef DOI é um sistema de grande utilidade. Atualmente pode ser introduzido no sistema de atualização da produtividade na plataforma DeGóis, aumentando assim a acessibilidade aos artigos de um autor.

Atitude é uma componente chave de toda a ação empreendedora. A Direção Editorial deseja manter um olhar atento sobre o mundo das pessoas comprometidas com a equidade em saúde, e promover uma atitude recetiva a novas ideias e pontos de vista dos nossos leitores atuais e futuros.

In this Editorial, we would like to offer a special word of gratitude to all those who take interest in the Nursing Journal Referência, i.e. authors, reviewers, and, particularly, readers and users.

A Scientific Journal provides an important service by disseminating scientific and technical information to a broad universe of readers.

The readers are the reason for being of any Scientific Journal and their investment represents the most relevant value of the Journal.

In a simplified statistical reading about the number of views of articles from the Nursing Journal Referência in the SciELO Platform - Scientific Electronic Library Online, the reports show an increase not only in site usage, but also in the citations of the Journal. Moreover, the regular reports of the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) system provide relevant information on the access to scientific articles, with particular emphasis on the top 10 most viewed research articles. The CrossRef DOI is a highly useful system. At present, it may be introduced into the productivity update system of the DeGóis platform, thereby increasing the accessibility to the articles of a given author.

Attitude is a key component of entrepreneurial action. The Editorial Board aims at keeping an attentive on the world of people committed to equity in health and promoting an open attitude to new ideas and points of view from our current and future readers.

Whenever possible, please send your opinion, encouragement and suggestions to the Editor-in-Chief, which may contribute to spreading the creative spirit to the life of each of us.
