Filicídio: Incidência e factores associados

RESUMO

O presente artigo é uma revisão da literatura sobre o filicídio. Define o filicídio do ponto de vista legal e psicológico e refere a sua incidência em diferentes países. Aborda os factores ambientais, parentais e relacionados com a vítima que são susceptíveis de contribuir para o fenómeno. Dentro do filicídio destaca o neonaticídio por ter características muitas próprias que o distinguem dos outros casos de filicídio.

Palavras-chave: filicídio, neonaticídio, incidência, factores de risco.

 

ABSTRACT

This article is a review of the literature about filicide. It defines filicide legally and psychologically and refers its incidence in different countries. It also mentions environmental, parental and victim related factors that can contribute to the understanding of this phenomenon. Neonaticide is highlighted for having specific characteristics which distinguishes it from other filicide cases.

Key words: Filicide, neonaticide, incidence, risk factors.
