O trabalho dos adolescentes no Algarve: um estudo sobre as suas motivações, organização familiar e práticas de socialização

Este artigo apresenta uma análise das visões dos adolescentes e adultos sobre o trabalho infantil na região do Algarve e procura reconstruir a inteligibilidade de tais práticas. Como abordagem centrada nas crianças, utiliza a Convenção das Nações Unidas sobre os Direitos da Criança de 1989 (CRC) e o paradigma da criança como actor social e sujeito.

Le travail des adolescents dans l’Algarve: une étude sur leurs motivations, leur organisation familiale et leurs pratiques de socialisation

Cet article nous présente une analyse des visions des adolescents et des adultes sur le travail des enfants dans la région de l’Algarve, tout en cherchant à reconstruire l’intelligibilité de ces pratiques. En guise d’approche ciblée sur les enfants, il utilise la Convention des Nations Unies sur les Droits de l’Enfant de 1989 (CRC) et le paradigme de l’enfant en tant qu’acteur social et en tant que sujet.

Adolescent labour in the Algarve: a study of motivations, family structure and socialization practices

This article analyses adolescent and adult views of child labour in the Algarve and seeks to provide a new understanding of such practices. With its focus on children, it adopts the 1989 UN Convention on the Rights of Children (CRC) and the paradigm of the child as both subject and social actor.
