Abstract

MIRANDA, João. The valorisation of public domain in the legal regime of public real estate assets. e-Pública [online]. 2018, vol.5, n.1, pp.60-74. ISSN 2183-184X.

The article covers the treatment of the topic of public domain assets by the RJPIP in view of how they are valued. It concludes that this legal regime is concerned with the appreciation of these assets, including those of private domain, through the implementation of the principles of sound administration and fairness as general principles applicable to the management, use and disposal of real estate assets. In the exploitation of the ways of enhancing the public domain, it is focused the tension that exists between that aim and the need to provide the protection of these assets, as well as the question of how responsibilities are shared between the State and the autonomous regions

Keywords : Public domain; Principle Of Sound Administration; Principle Of Fairness; Appreciation Of Public Domain Assets; Public Domain Protection; Shared Management Of Maritime Public Domain.
