Resumen

RIBEIRO, Ruben. Sociocultural Animation: Importance of supporting documents for a sustained and reflective practice. Invest. Práticas [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.2, pp.89-105. ISSN 2182-1372.  https://doi.org/10.25757/invep.v9i2.179.

Socio-cultural Animation (ASC) has, since the beginning of Sec. XX, affirmed its role in everyday life, being used in common slang and playing an increasingly present role in many contexts. To support its practice, it is regulated by normative elements such as the status of the socio-cultural animator and the code of ethics of the animator. Unfortunately, the practice of ASC is not legislated by any kind of order, as opposed to an enormity of other professions, which makes it impossible to control good and bad practices, as well as the responsibility for less correct acts. In this way, the article is structured in two parts: the importance of creating an order that regulates the importance of the use of supporting documents in ASC practices; and the importance of supporting documents in working directly with the populations, especially the elderly. The objective of this article is: I), to make known what is the sociocultural animation; II) to inform that the practice of activities carried out by animators should be based on normative elements, in a perspective of promoting peer relations and on the basis of reflective practice; III) Make known the existing legislation. This reflective practice aims to enable the animator to analyze his actions, looking at what went well and less well, taking into account his public, environment and activity. This study was based on the need to investigate the importance of legislation and the use of supporting documents for a reflexive practice in ASC.

Palabras clave : Sociocultural Animation; Deontological Code of Sociocultural Animator; Status of the Sociocultural Animator; Legislation; Reflective Practice.
