Resumen

VEIGA, Bruno; FERNANDES, Isabel; SOUSA, Otília  y  FUERTES, Marina. The historic of tandem studies about parents and educators interaction and communication with the child during collaborative tasks. Invest. Práticas [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.2, pp.46-72. ISSN 2182-1372.  https://doi.org/10.25757/invep.v9i2.184.

The present article reviews the Portuguese Tandem studies about the quality of interaction and communication of parents and educators during a collaborative task with a child of preschool age.  For that purpose, the articles in revision are organized in the following categories: adult and child authorship and cooperation, components of the product, materials/tools used to manufacture the product, quality of interaction, verbal communication, and child and adults factors. The yet exploratory findings indicate that parents and educators have different approaches during the task.  Moreover, we found there are gender differences that indicate that girls and boys may experience different learning and social experiences. Mostly the results of this revision add to the body of knowledge that indicates that communication is a key process to promote child thinking while the quality of the involvement and interaction may promote children participation.

Palabras clave : Colaborative Tasks; Interation; Comunicacion; Parents; Educators.
