Abstract

GARCIA-BERMUDEZ, Sismay; REIS, Pedro  and  VAZQUEZ-BERNAL, Bartolomé. Promotion of activism on environmental issues in middle-school students through web 2.0 tools. Invest. Práticas [online]. 2017, vol.7, n.2, pp.34-53. ISSN 2182-1372.

This paper presents preliminary results of a research that aims to identify the potentialities and limitations of collaborative virtual environments and Web 2.0 tools to promote activism on environmental issues in middle-school students. It is made a methodology’s description framed within the paradigm of complexity and evolution, action research and documentary analysis. The work is of qualitative and quantitative nature; at the end, it is presented a preliminary analysis of the results obtained with blogs, Facebook groups, YouTube videos built by students and a semi-structured interview, in which an analysis of some questions that relate to the questionnaires is presented.
