Abstract

CAMPS, Anna. 25 años de investigación en didáctica de la lengua. Invest. Práticas [online]. 2017, vol.7, n.1, pp.31-40. ISSN 2182-1372.

During the 25-year-old-celebration of the establishment of the Faculty of Education of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the author has given a conference in which she made a general review on the priority lines of investigation within the field of the Teaching of Language in said university and on the whole of the Spanish context, emphasising the situation about the schooling of the Teaching in a time where this scope of knowledge was considered a university field of investigation. At the beginning of this period, the Teaching of Language and Literature found it necessary to shape the object of its investigation, to set doctorate degrees that would cover that investigation, and to homologate professors in this field. During this 25 years, the investigations about the reading and writing processes and about the social circumstances in which they occur have been the reference axis of the studies about teaching and learning of the language. Recently a new line has emerged rooted in the noticeable metalinguistic ability in those same reading and writing processes, focusing on the need of grammar knowledge from the apprentices. It stresses, at the present moment, the study of interrelation among the different language abilities, for instance between reading and writing, and between writing and grammar knowledge.

Keywords : Didactic of Language; Research trends; Teaching of reading; Teaching of writing; Grammatical Teaching.
