This article aims to present the work of the visual artist Maria do Céu Diel, who outlined her trajectory searching for records that put in evidence the process of memory construction. In this sense, we can perceive the rhetorical force of her images that transit in each step of the journey in two directions: internally and externally. Thus, turning the paths into images that inhabit the real world.
