Abstract

HERBERTO, Luís. Natacha Merritt's Digital Diaries: Truth or Dare?. Estúdio [online]. 2019, vol.10, n.25, pp.65-72. ISSN 1647-6158.

Natacha Merritt produced one of the most assertive works in the sexually explicit domain, representing an inescapable rupture in the artistic environment. 'Digital Diaries' are an expressive set of self-representative digital photographs, in various intimate scenes and made publicly available on the Internet. From this paradoxically incognito record, she was thrown to the restricted sphere of "high-art", through the editorial giant Taschen, with a graceful edition of 300 000 copies, reigniting the discussion in the binomial art/ pornography.

Keywords : Porno-Art; erotic; pornographic; transgression; public; private.
