The text brings the analysis of awork by Giordano Toldo: In search of Eliot Erwitt, where the artist seeks adialogue with photographer Eliot Erwitt (1928-) for areflection on the urban space and experience with the city. Awning is part of a 1950s book by the French-American photographer, dealing with the changes of the urban space, making a new journey through the places suggested by the book. The objective is areflection on the transformations of the city, its shadows, photography as an instrument of knowledge and serendipity.
