The objective of this article is approach the graphic work of Begoña García-Alén exploring it from a formal and poetic perspective. For that, we'll make areflection about his latest book published "Nuevas Estructuras", a comic that explores the limits of the medium itself speaking about the creative process. The author's mothods will be analyze in a discourse compared to other subjects as painting, cinema and sculpture. So it will be possible to do an study from an academic point of view of a medium that has always been on the sidelines: the comic.
