This article proposes a reflection on the landscape as a concept, in the artistic work of Ilídio Salteiro, from ten paintings, of different series. It is intended to analyze how this landscape coexists with architecture, which sometimes disappears and transmutes into imaginary topographies. How can the contemporary painting be an exercise of 'Religare?'.
