The purpose of this article is to discuss the nature of drawing in the context of the exhibition Cleaning up the vacuum, by António Olaio. For this we articulate texts and ideas of artists and researchers with the exhibition's plastic elements. As a result, we obtain an analysis of the art work that connects historical, plastic and conceptual aspects. We conclude that the singularity of the drawing lies in the very action of drawing, in the potency of creation.
