This paper discusses the work of the artist Alice Geirinhas from three interrelated points: written text and drawn image; the approach of the feminine through these elements at different moments of her work; and the autobiographical art research developed in her PhD thesis. What is erceived is aconvergence of distinct factors that find in her artist's book Visual Manifesto (2016) a singular expression of the relation between image and text.
