This paper analyzes two main aspects of the painter José Miguel Pereñíguez: the first one, the interpretation of the ontological fact as finding of vital loopholes; the second one, drawing as theme, document and discipline, that emphasizes the instant, understood as a hub of change, which calls into question the way of perceiving the represented.
