This article examines the recent works of Gerard Ortín dedicated to his interaction with the landscape, in which the key themes are the interconnections he establishes between the natural and artificial worlds. It raises various problems concerning the notion of landscape (understood as a socio-cultural construction), the action of man and the technique and the resulting representations.
