This article tries to seek an understanding of softness as bonding quality in the oeuvre of the artist Leda Catunda (São Paulo, 1961). Some works from 1991 to 2002 were chosen for they work on the thin edge between painting and soft objects, independently of being taken from daily life or made by the artist herself.
