This article has the purpose of presenting three artists’ books that were generated from woodcut and intaglio. What characterizes them is the peculiar - when it comes to engraving - utilization of parts of patterns taken from ancient matrices, apparently abstract, but which are connected in the memory and the relation of the artist, Sandra Correia Favero, to the sea.
