Ulises Carrión contributed for the consolidation of the field of artist's books as a an artistic genre in the seventies. He explores new possibilities which enlarge and expand the codex, the book is not approached exclusively in a literary perspective. His production expanded the material meaning of the book/ the materiality proper to books. The text (meaning) of the book approaches/reaches a plastic dimension, of estesic order.
