This article seeks tocontextualizethe work of Pina Bausch (1940-2009), a world reference in Tanztheater, focusing in her piece Kontakthof (1978).With this project,Bausch appropriates social work, calling to integrate her piece, non-professionals,aged over 65 years and teenagers, residents of the city of Wuppertal, questioning what is art and who are the artists.
