This article aims to highlight the aspects, in Sam The Kid's work, which are responsible for the creation of something transversal in terms of artistic language, focusing on the role that the place may have in the construction of his musics, observing how his work is a result of a intertwined structure of visual and musical references, combined with a deep sense of belonging to a community and to a territory - Chelas neighborhood.
