This article aims to present the perception of technical against the child. Our methodology is based on a study of exploratory, descriptive, quantitative research, seeking to work with the universe of meanings, motivations, and attitudes. The study population consisted of all elements belonging to the CPCY of Setubal. Based on the results obtained, the attitude of technical substitution does not favor the development of skills, increasing the stance of the delegation but also decreases the self-esteem of the family. For a possible change of attitude towards the victim , according to the number of years , it was observed that little or nothing had changed since the feelings toward the offender , it was found that anger is a feeling more often and passivity was the least common sense , the abuse in general, the most commonly reported feeling was frustration. The design life of children was one of the concerns raised, being necessary to contextualize the uniqueness of each case.
