Abstract

This research aimed to know the educational games used to address gender violence. Therefore, a scope review was conducted in academic databases and gray literature in the fields of Health, Psychology and Education. Of the 1,174 publications selected from the title, only 13 were included in the review after full reading and according to the eligibility criteria. Data extraction was performed through a semi-structured instrument, incorporated into the webQDA software through the source coding system. The treatment and data analysis made it possible to identify 11 educational games that addressed gender violence. As measures to prevent and confront the gender based violence were cited the denaturalization of gender roles, recognition of the problem and mechanisms to overcome them, and the educational potential of games in relation to the phenomenon.
