SARLI, Juan Leonardo; LEONE, Horacio y GUTIERREZ, Milagros. SCFHLA: A Semantic Interoperability Model for Supply Chain Distributed Simulation. RISTI [online]. 2018, n.30, pp.34-50. ISSN 1646-9895. https://doi.org/10.17013/risti.30.34-50.
Supply chain distributed simulation has as major advantage to maintain members' autonomy, being able to reuse existing simulators and avoiding making a new one. However, a new problem emerges. It is required an agreement about the meaning of objects, events, interactions and metrics, to be shared during simulation in order to successfully achieve the simulation objectives. In this work, we present a conceptual framework based on an ontology network, which is the frame to define the modeling and simulation of supply chain in a distributed environment, guaranteeing semantic interoperability among members. The HLA (High Level Architecture) standard has been used as a tool to build distributed simulation.
