This article shows the process, the research and the results of a usability analysis carried out in a set of fruit and olive-growing websites cooperatives. The study comes from the need of analyzing the presence and the use of the Internet and the Web for this vital industry in the province of Lleida (Spain). Both sectors, olive-oil and sweet fruit, are of vital importance to the economy of this area. The evaluation of the homepage spatial distribution of the site and the heuristic evaluation are the used techniques. Both cater to the large sample to be analyzed. Once the problems and errors have been identified, the possible improvements or solutions to the problems identified are proposed.
