The sample consisted of 75 children, divided into two groups: 43 children in the intervention group participating in the program second time and had physical education classes, 26 girls and 17 boys with a mean age of 7.6 ± 1.3 and 8.7 ± 1.3 years respectively and 32 control children and 18 boys and 14 girls with a mean age 8.6 ± 1.5 and 8.2 ± 1.2 years, respectively, who had only physical education classes. The TGMD-2 was used to assess motor skills of movement and object control before and after social sports program. The results indicated: significant improvements after the program ends for boys and girls in locomotor skills and object control: Similar gains were found between the sexes in the intervention group; boys and girls in the intervention group performed better when compared to their peers in the control group at the end of the program. The social sports project promoted significant improvements in engine performance of participating children.
