Abstract

The traditional civilizations and European nations are under the growing pressure of several global processes. Between these globalizing forces it shows up the economic globalization and the regional integration in the Europe. Contemporarily, the idea of State leaves of to be associated to the total sovereignty or exclusive territoriality since borders are now permeable, so much as economically as culturally. However, even if being in crisis, the nation-State continues the main one actor in the path of the international relations. This article intends to analyze the main approaches associated to the major causes pointed as responsible by the decline of the nation-State: the globalization and the European integration. It still does a short reference to the reaffirm of the under-state cultural movements, which subsists with theirs particularities and rowing against a globalizing dynamic.
