The object of the paper is the European extreme-right and its perspetive on the refugees' crisis. The aim is to contrast the thesis of the eternal return of fascism through the theories of the varieties of the extreme-rights (the traditional ones and the post-industrial ones) and their dynamics by waves. On this basis, the statements of the extreme-right parties and movements about the refugees' crisis demonstrate empirically the polymorphic character of that political family and the strength of its discourse: not a mere racist chauvinism but a set of radical alternatives to the national policies, the European project and its geopolitical role in the Mediterranean region.
