Tony Blair transformed radically the United Kingdom in different policy areas. However, the changes brought by Blair between 1997 and 2007 represent a deviation from socialdemocratic values. This argument will be demonstrated with an analysis of New Labour’s economic, social, constitutional foreign policies.
