Abstract

PAZOS, David Villacis. Adaptive organizational model to turbulent scenarios: Brazilian entrepreneurial energy sector. Rev. Portuguesa e Brasileira de Gestão [online]. 2013, vol.12, n.3, pp.11-20. ISSN 1645-4464.

The objective research is to identify the managers’ thinking in relation to the characteristics of an organizational model with adaptive capacity to turbulent scenarios in order to reach organizational sustainability during time. Methodologically the research has a qualitative approach. The method used for data analysis was Grounded Theory, supported by Atlas/ti software. The data collection was through in-depth interviews from a theoretical sample. From the research emerged three categories: prospective planning, adaptive systems and structural integration, which configure the adaptive capacity needed for reaching the organizational sustainability. The advantage of this model with its properties and dimensions is the measurement possibility of adaptive capacity to reach the organizational sustainability.
