This study aimed to analyze psychometric properties of KIDSCREEN-27 in adolescents. This is a methodological empirical study with data from 635 adolescents aged 10 to 16 years, with proportionality for gender and age. Construct validity (factorial, convergent and discriminant) and reliability of KIDSCREEN-27 were evaluated. Factorial validity was estimated by confirmatory factor analysis; the convergent validity, by the mean extracted variance (VEM); discriminant validity by comparing the EMV with the square of the Pearson correlation coefficient; and reliability, by Cronbach's alpha. Construct validity, in general, presented satisfactory results: factor loadings> 0.40, except for two items (0.30 and 0.37); model fit quality indicators (χ 2 / df = 2.48; CFI = 0.913; GFI = 0.920; TLI = 0.901; RMSEA = 0.048) adequate; and adequate VEM values ​​for the dimensions “Social Support and Peer Group” and “School Environment”. Most of the dimensions presented adequate values ​​of the comparison of the EMV of the two-by-two dimensions, with the square of Pearson correlation between them. Reliability was adequate (Cronbach's α standardized from 0.71 to 0.79) in all dimensions. Overall, KIDSCREEN-27 showed satisfactory psychometric properties for this sample of adolescents.
