Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the evaluation of an intersectoral intervention in adolescent health indicators from a border region. Multicenter intervention study conducted in a triple border region between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. The intervention of the “Caiunarede” strategy occurred during the period from 2017 to 2019 with a sample of 880 adolescents, In this paper we will present analyzes that were performed later to identify the impact of the strategy, using a difference-in-difference (DID) estimation model. Asessment of the impact of the intervention on the variables of interest showed that the strategy yielded significant results in indicators of cannabis use, alcohol use, tobacco use, parental connection, parental regulation, physical activity and lonely.
