In addition, it interviewed 06 people in serodiscordant relationship to HIV / AIDS. One sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview was used. Descriptive and statistical content analysis was used. Most have income more than 5 years of relationship and more than three years of diagnosis. Emerged from two thematic classes: Diagnosis and Prejudice. Scientific advances in AIDS are evident, but the prejudice is still present, probably due to information gaps or socially constructed beliefs. There is a need for policies that guarantee the right of this population to experience their choices in a dignified way.
