Abstract

LOIOLA, Elainy da Silva Camilo; ALVES, Haiana Maria de Carvalho  and  SIQUEIRA, Mirlene Maria Matias. Relationship between perception of justice and welfare at work in professional Brazilian. Psic., Saúde & Doenças [online]. 2017, vol.18, n.1, pp.85-90. ISSN 1645-0086.  https://doi.org/10.15309/17psd180107.

Well -being at work has been described as an indicator of occupational health. The promotion of this indicator is linked to can, as individuals perceive that their employer takes decisions related to them based on fair procedures. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between well -being at work (BET) and perceived fairness of procedures (PJP). The participants were a group of 105 Brazilian workers with an average age of 32.03 (SD = 8.80) years, with the majority (65.7 %) females, distributed equally between single and married. Participants answered two accurate and valid measures that assessed BET and PJP, whose data were analyzed using SPSS. A correlation analysis (Pearson's r) indices showed positive and significant between the dimensions of BET and PJP. The ANOVA revealed that men have higher levels of well -being at work. These results indicate that the level of well -being at work increases proportionally to the perceived fairness of the procedure, as was evidenced that men are able to maintain stronger ties than women with work and organization. Given the results presented, it would be possible to recognize that the decision -making procedures adopted by the company raise healthy states among its employees as welfare.
