Abstract

PALMA, Tomás  and  MAROCO, João. Internal and external motivation scale to respond without prejudice: a cross-validation study for the portuguese population. Psic., Saúde & Doenças [online]. 2009, vol.10, n.2, pp.267-275. ISSN 1645-0086.

We report the cross-validation study of the Portuguese version for the internal and external motivation scales to respond without prejudice of Plant & Devine (1998). The results gathered in a convenience sample of college students revealed, after cross-validation, that the Portuguese version of the Internal and External motivation scales to respond without prejudice have appropriate factorial validity, reliability and sensibility. The adapted version is a psychometric dully validated scale to evaluate strategies to respond without prejudice in the Portuguese college student population.
