With the intention of evaluating the values and beliefs about sexuality, maternity and abortion on women, a literature revision was done with bibliographic research on existing scales approaching these thematic. We elaborated a measuring instrument with 38 items, which was applied to 312 women, being also collected data about social-demographic characterization. The present study describes the construction, validation procedure and study of psychometric proprieties of the “Questionnaire of Values and Beliefs on Sexuality, Maternity and Abortion”. We present the results of factorial analysis and information regarding the validity and internal consistence of the scale.
