This research has the goal of verifying the psychosocial repercussions of the diagnosis and medical treatment in women with breast cancer, as well as identifying the Social Support and Spiritual Well-Being perceived by them. Method: a cross study, with sample of 75 women in medical accompaniment. The research instruments were: structuralized interview with social-demographic and clinical data, Norbeck Social Support Questionnaire (NSSQ) and Scale of Spiritual Well-Being (SWB). For data analysis it was used p≤ 0.05. The results had indicated the presence of psychosocial difficulties in diagnosis and treatment stages. The Social Support was perceived as proceeding mainly from close relatives and the Spiritual Well-Being revealed itself as an important aid resource, being the religious aspect the most important one. In conclusion the health service has to be more effective in support actions, respecting and understanding the woman with breast cancer on the whole, in its biopsychosociospiritual aspect.
