Sexual satisfaction is an important issue in everyday life of ordinary people, with a chronic disease and without disease. The aims of the present study are to explore the psychometric properties of the Self-Esteem and Relationship (SEAR) questionnaire in women with urinary incontinence and with sexual activity. Urinary incontinence is an event relatively frequent that is growing when society become older. Participants are 54 women with urinary incontinence that maintain sexual activity, aged between 35 and 77 years of age. The adaptation process of the questionnaire, initially developed for males, imposed the change of an item from male perspective for female perspective. Results show good metric properties for the Portuguese version, similar to the ones of the original version.
