Abstract

This work has the objective of show, what a psychologist can do in a hospital, particularly in the liver transplantation unit. The work of this professional has the objective of evaluate and give psychological support to these patients, giving them a space where they can receive more information about the transplantation. Therefore they will be prepared emotional and psychological about some problems, which can show up resulting from the treatment before and after the liver transplant. All this process of psychological support and evaluation has the objective of improving their quality of life.
