Various aspects of infant development can be discussed and indicated as relevant factors in the study of children with visual impairment. One of these aspects is the relation between mother-child interaction and social, affective, linguistic and cognitive child development. The aim of this article is to discuss this relation and to reflect about the importance of mother-child interaction and the role of mother promoting the development of child with visual impairment.
