Abstract

This article aims to highlight the importance for the social change of gender stereotypes, the production of artistic research and practice in art and gender, carried out in a trans and interdisciplinary way that crosses several areas of knowledge with the visual arts, sociomuseology and gender studies in museums and the fine arts academy. This action-research has as a target audience students and surrounding communities, aiming at the transformation of people’s mentalities through art, in accordance with objectives set out in United Nations Agendas on Gender Equality and Empowerment of All Women and Girls and LGBTI+ rights.
