Abstract

BLANCO, Verónica Perales. Love, Art and Ecofeminism: Hundreds take flight, or subverting how we love. Ex aequo [online]. 2013, n.27, pp.77-93. ISSN 0874-5560.

This essay is a revision of the concept of love, an attempt to rethink the prime meaning of the term to understand what does it means to love from an open and free situation. In the last third of the twentieth century numerous artistic projects, pointed directly or indirectly, the expression of love. It seems clear that analyze love from a gender perspective is something unavoidable, a forced condition to emerge any reasoning. However, when we review the use of the term, we always find this general and systematic adsorption of dualist and determinant connotations of sex and anthropocentrism.

Keywords : Love; art; ecofeminism; queer.
