Abstract

OLIVEIRA, João Manuel de. Feminisms inhabit hyphenated spaces: location and intersectionality of feminist knowledges. Ex aequo [online]. 2010, n.22, pp.25-39. ISSN 0874-5560.

This text revisits some of the theoretical production in the area of feminist theory and of the spaces of intersection that generated from feminist theory such as black feminism and lesbian feminism. This re-vision to these recent places in feminist theory is aimed at the location and contextualization of knowledges to generate some propositions for critical positions in feminist research. We focus the production of Donna Haraway that shows us how feminism should inhabit spaces marked by intersectionality.

Keywords : Intersectionality; location; feminisms; feminist theory; inhabit.
