This article presents the evaluation findings of three drug addiction prevention projects, integrated in Programa Intervir - municipal program for the drug addiction prevention in the city of Lisbon. The evaluation process has reconciled the approach for assessing the quality of programs, through the application of the instrument RPQ-Programas, and the appreciative approach of programs evaluation, through appreciative interviews with staff, youths and families con­cerned by the projects. The data point to strategies to improve the efficacy and the efficiency of drug addiction prevention programs.
