CAETANO, António e VALA, Jorge. Organizational perceived justice, job satisfaction and behavioral options. Psicologia [online]. 1999, vol.13, n.1-2, pp.75-84. ISSN 0874-2049. https://doi.org/10.17575/rpsicol.v13i1/2.560.
The present field study examined the role of the perception of organizational justice in the workplace using a structured questionnaire. The main purpose of this study was to assess the influence of distributive, procedural, and interactional fairness on important job-related aspects, namely, job satisfaction and behavioral options. Three dimensions of job satisfaction were under scrutiny: satisfaction with pay, satisfaction with work climate and satisfaction with leadership. Two behavioral options were also operationalized: external exit and internal exit. Four hundred and twenty seven of a large industrial organization volunteered to answer the questionnaire. Structural equations modeling of the data indicated that the three dimensions of perceived justice (distributive, procedural, and interactional) have distinctive effects on the outcome measures studied. The findings of the present study are discussed with respect to the under standing of the influence of perceived justice on attitudes in organizational settings
