Children’s behaviour in eighth century BC was documented in Homeric poems, especially in Iliad. This behaviour, in it’s naturalness - the entertainments (such as sand castles), the candies, the call for mother’s lap - is still preserved, which makes us believe that children’s mentality remains the same for millenniums, unlike that of the adult.
