We present here the translation and adaptation of the Death Attitude Profile - Revised (DAP-R), a revision of the DAP developed by Wong, Reker and Gesser (1994). The study was conducted with a sample of 1543 Portuguese adults and shows that this instrument has good reliability and construct validity. An adjusted structure emerges between the underlying theoretical rationale for the scale and the results obtained by factor analysis.
