The legal regime applicable to the post-public employment situations states that the individuals who have held political positions, elected or appointed, cannot exercise, for a period of three years, from the end of their appointments or election, futures position that could possibly collide with the regime of incompatibilities, in particular, which may cause a conflict of interest . This article intends to make a synopsis and also make some reflections about the state of the art in such systems.
